Champagne hotels?
My husband and I are travelling to France in September. We're staying in Paris for 4 nights, Burgandy for 3 nights, and want to end the trip with 2 nights in the Champagne region. I've booked us at a small B&B in Burgandy (http://www.lesroches-burgundy.com/), but still need a good place to stay in Champagne. Any suggestions? We're looking to spend 125-180 euros a night.

We stayed at La Villa Eugene in Epernay....The champagne was good...but the chocolate was to die for. Go to Vincent Dallet Chocolatier in the village of Epernay. Epernay as you probably know is where Moet etc are. Cheers!!

I've stayed in many places around Reims....(I'm a very frequent Champagne buyer!)but most of the hotels (in Reims) aren't great.
The Villa Eugene is usually outside your budget. Here are some others: Mercure - charmless business hotel but within your budget Kyriad - charmless small hotel but within your budget Hotel Crystal - well located, within your budget - not the Ritz Chateau d'etoges - very nice but out of your budget but sometimes they do deals. This is in Epernay. You could stay in the Hotel Azure in Reims which is cheap and cheerful and well located and spend your money on dinner. But I think what you might be looking for is this: http://www.lemanoirdescharmes.fr |
Hi semily,
We're going to be in the Champagne region in a couple of weeks, and we're staying at a B&B called Parva Domus, in Epernay. It gets great reviews on Tripadvisor, and it's even under your budget. http://www.parvadomusrimaire.com/ Have a great trip! |
Thanks so much for the suggestions, and keep em' coming!
We may increase our budget and go for The Villa Eugene. I've looked at some of the others listed here and they're already fully booked (we'll be there Friday/Saturday). |
