chalet for rent in Lech Austria, skiing tips in Austria

6 adults with 6 kids (ages 9 to 12) are planning on driving from Stuttgart Germany where we all live to Lech Austria the week before Christmas this year. Does anyone have any suggestions on houses/chalets for rent at Lech? Has anyone every skied Lech, any tips? We choose Lech because we heard it can have good snow this time of year.

You may find a better selection of chalet style accomodations in St. Anton not far from Lech.
Both resorts share higher altitudes producing generally good erly skiing. most years both will open by the end of november.
Both resorts offer exelent lift networks and good varied skiing for all levels.
Lech is smaller, more quiet and may be a little more expensive.

Many enjoy the round trip skiing from Lech to the nearby village of Zurs and returning. Lifts are co ordinated to permit this and it is good fun.
Skiing there is great but I believe you will have more trouble trying to find your requested accomodsations there.
I would suggest you contact the local tourist offices at both resorts to assist you
