Centrally Located Base for Visiting Granada, Cordoba, Seville

Venturing to Southern Spain in October. Would like to rent a "rural" but well equipped (pool, view, etc.) vacation home that is centrally located between Granada, Cordoba and Seville. Looking at the Rute area. Any other locations that might work? I realize Seville might be a stretch but I am looking for that type of advice. Any recommendations for a spectacular vacation rental villa in inland Andalucia?

Take a look at this villa close to Antequera, the so called heart or crossroads of Andalucía: https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p423905

Antequera is alomst in the middle of the Málaga, Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada rectangle, genuine and unspoilt by tourism and carries tons of history. It was for example the first of the Granada emirate towns to fall to the Christians in 1410: http://andaluciacoastandcountry.com/antequera-spain/

Take a look at Casa La Sierrecilla, also close to Antequera: http://andaluciacoastandcountry.com/villa-andalucia/

Both villas are also fairly close to laid-back Malaga (3000 year old Phoenician Malaka) city by the Med: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/de...pt-secret.html
