FIRST DRAFT ITINERARY Fall 2010

Fly into Berlin
Train to Krakow 3- 4 days pick up rental car, drive to Drive to Budapest 3-4 days;
Drive to Ceský Krumlov
Drive to the Czech Rep/Prague 4 days
Prague Marriot
Fly out of CR to home/ Boston, Ma

Thoughts? Better travel itinerary? Would like to keep schedule to two weeks, is this too much?

Look for a big drop charge with that itinerary.

Auschwitz? It's 45 minutes NW of Krakow

no doubt as to visiting both camps in Poland; just hear a lot of big drop charges (see above) and thought I could mitigate that using the train and dumping the rental once we got to CR?

That won't mitigate anything - if you pick up a car in one country and drop in another and you are generally hit w/ huge drop off charges.
