Cenacolo Vinciano - need help with reservation
 

We were in Milan last year and tried to see the Last Supper without a reservation. We were laughed off the premises. This year we'll be back in Milan in October. Tried to make a reservation twice on their website without success. I'm getting a message "Errore formato messagio." Spoke to credit card company and there is no problem. Nothing has been charged. There are still 6 spaces available for my preferred booking. Anyone had a recent experience booking through that website?

Just ask your hotel in Milan to make reservations for you.

BTW, we saw the Last Supper without reservations. Ha! But that was in October 1999.

I booked on this site last week for the end of September. I think I did the message you quoted t first but perservered and managed to get a booking.

It is worth perservering I think because the bookings seem to fill up fast.

I tried again and again and got the same message as you. I gave up.

I had difficulties with the Web site last year. It showed availability but when I get around to the page to actually request a place, it came back with no availability. I called the Last Supper 24 times over 4 days and got busy signals. I ended up having my hotel make a reservation. Should have let my hotel do it from the beginning.
