Cellar Restaurant in Prague?

Please help... I had a great lunch in Prague -- roast duck with all the Czech trimmings. It was in the cellar of a small hotel just off the Old square. You descended a winding staircase into what looked like an old wine cellar. I took one of their cards but of course I can't find it now. I have a friend who is now going to Prague and would like to visit the same restaurant. Would anybody know the name?? TIA!

We had dinner in a restaurant at hotel Europa - not their main dining room -but a restaurant dowstairs. Is this what you are looking for?

If you don't get a definitive answer here, you might want to try posting your question on tripadvisor.com's Prague forum. There are few "local experts" posting there that include people living in the city.

It sounds like the hotel I stayed in a few years ago, which had a beautiful cellar restaurant.

Good luck!
