Cell phone charger

Will a 12 volt cell phone charger work in a european car rental?
We leave day after tomorrow.

Thanks!

Look at the back of the charger. If it says 120-220 or 240 v, then it will work in room also. You will need a plug converter to use. They can be bought at the airport gift shop you land at. They usually cost around 5E.

jkbritt- OP is asking about a car charger, not a wall charger.

Notice I said "also". That referred to the car charger part. I was expanding OP's knowledge and letting him know that the charger could be used in room, with modifications. Others had answered the car charger qeuestion before me.

I've never heard of a car charger (12V-DC) that could be used with line voltage, either 120V-AC or 240V-AC. Where do I get one of those?
