You'll have to go ahead alone. Not living in Germany I am only partly affected by the German tax system.

I'm married to an Austrian. I speak very strange German, becuase, many words I don't know in German, only in dialect. I also have a very strange accent.

Germans always laugh at me. I have a German teacher now and she's trying to reprogramme me - to no avail. To me a Turkey will always be an Indianer.

I think it's better to learn "german German" first and then pick up a few words of dialect.

You should try learn from on line websites. They provide plenty of material.... Apart from this you should try to speak this language if you really want to command over that. I think this is the best way to learn any language.
