CDG transportation into Paris

I will be renting a car at CDG this next week to tour France and will return it to CDG in order to spend a few days in Paris. I have been looking at various websites for a shuttle or bus from CDG into downtown Paris but am not seeing anything that is recent -actually all of the Fodor's posts are upwards of 6-10 years ago. Some of the sites on Goggle are charging over 100 euros one way!!!
Since I usually ride a crew van to our layover hotel, I was wondering if anyone could offer the most inexpensive way to get to and from CDG for 3 persons. Thanks!

I've used and like Leader Shuttle. Their rates are E16 per person for 3 people so about the same as a taxi but the shuttle rate is fixed where a taxi can charge more if there is traffic. And the shuttle does not charge extra for bags. Leader will meet you at the airport with your name on a sign and take you to your hotel/apartment.

Lots of people here use shuttles and you will get several recommendations.

BTW - there are many shuttle recommendations here within the last year.

For three people, I find the cost of a taxi is not significantly higher than a shuttle. I have used World Shuttles at http://www.world-shuttles.com/index....id=47&Itemid=2 but usually I just use a taxi from the airport to the hotel or apartment and call the shuttle to get out to the airport for the return trip. That way I can just walk out to the taxi line at the airport on arrival, which is the easiest.

There is also the Air France Bus and the Roissybus. If your hotel is near their stops, that can be convenient and less expensive than a taxi or a shuttle.

For three people a taxi will be about the same price as a shuttle, and you do not need to worry about meeting a driver or being late for an appointed time, nor do you risk having to ride around while other pax are dropped off at their hotels.
There is also the RER train which will take you into the city for €8.50 per person. If your hotel is close to an RER station (or if you are willing to transfer to a metro line) it is usually the cheapest option but works best if you have few bags to wrangle.

Shuttle-Inter is a private shuttle, meaning that your party will be the only ones in the car. They will wait outside baggage claim with your name on a placard and will help with luggage. I've used them for 2 round trips now and was very pleased with the service. It's 55 euro (total) for up to 3 people.

I have been using the Shuttle-Inter for years with complete satisfaction.

The bus is the same as it has always been for many years -- one the city runs that goes to the Opera (Roissybus)

and the Air France bus lines that go to several points. www.lescarsairfrance.com

The MOST inexpensive way is the RER. 8.60 euro. Try www.ratp.fr. Or go to the train station at Terminal 2, get in line and buy three tickets. Here's a good site for step by step directions, including photos: http://parisbytrain.com/paris-airpor...in-photo-tour/

Take a taxi--with the three of you. OR the RER if you want to go cheap, and you don't have much luggage.
