CDG transfer
 

My friend arrives at CDG from U.S. I will have spent the night at the airport. We take a flight to Marseille 3 hrs. after her arrival. Wouldn't it be best for me to make my way to the gate for the Maseiile flight and she would do the same? Meeting her flight sounds daunting with security and maybe different terminals.Do you have an opinion? Thank you.

I agree with you: meet at the gate for the Marseille flight.

I see no reason why you should meet her anywhere except the gate just before the flight. Keep it simple.

If you have her flight details, you will know if her flight is arriving in time for her to make the flight to Marseille. If so, meet at the gate...if her flight is no arriving in time, then you will have plenty of time to make whatever arrangements are necessary for the later flight to Marseille.
