CDG to Lannion

Has anyone taken a train from Charles de Gaulle airport to Lannion in Brittany? I'd appreciate knowing whether it can be done, or at least how close I can get to Lannion by train. My wife and I will be jet-lagged after flying into CDG from the States, and we want to drive as little as possible that first day. Thanks for ideas!

There are direct TGVs from CDG to Rennes and then you can take regional trains to Guingamp and change there to Lannion. It should take roughly 6h

Slightly easier: the Paris-Brest TGV stops at Guingamp.

There are some TGVs from Paris MOntparnasse direct to Lannion, you don't have to change anywhere. They take four hours. It's at 9:08 am and runs daily.

oh, if you aren't that pressed for vacation time, you might just take the AF bus to Montparnasse station and spend a night there at a hotel within walking distance of the train station. Because I'm sure you can't make it there by 9:08 am. There are tons of hotels and restaurants around there, it's not a bad place for a day to get over jet lag.

You can use www.capitainetrain.com for train schedules, prices and ticket purchase. Tickets are cheapest when they go on sale 3 months in advance and increase in price the closer you get to your travel date.
