CDG to Gare de Lyon

I will be landing from Krakow into Paris CDG at 10:10am. I need to catch the TGV at Gare De Lyon at 1:10pm.

With getting my luggage, going thru customs and catching the RER... is this a possible connection? I've ordered my TGV tickets and they will be delivered here, so I assume I won't have to exchange them at the train station.

You have enough time. I'll take the Air France Coach instead. Non-stop to Gare de Lyon. No switch.

Only thing is that the bus runs every 30 minutes. If your flight is very late, then you may want to do the train.

I like the no switch part!

If I do have to take the RER, I assume I need to buy a ticket for zones 1-5. Hopefully these are available via machine, I can't find anything about the fare on the rapt site. I just like to be prepared!

RER fare from CDG to Central Paris is 8.20€. Keep the ticket to get out of the RER system and to transfer to Metro (free).

The Air France Coach is significantly more expensive. 14€ each way.

Thank you!
I do like the Air France Coach idea better. I'll just have to see when I land and clear customs.

You should be fine with the AF coach. It is nonstop to GdL, and all in all will probably take no longer than the RER to Metro option. According to info at http://tinyurl.com/2za7dc Fare is 11.50 Euro one way.

Where are you going on the TGV? There are several trains a day to various destinations that leave right from CDG.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

We're headed to Dijon to pick up a car, then off to Beaune. I've checked the TGV from CDG, and the times were either too long or already sold out. :(
