OK Jean, time for maths class: let's consider the savings of the train/shuttle for two persons over a taxi. 25 euros, being very pessimistic. Now divide this by your overall travel budget: air fare x 2, hotel x n nights + meals + museums, etc. Got the result? Do you think it is enough to spoil the first hours of your vacation? You figure.

Hi, Jean... we used the following shuttle company, and we were very pleased. We decided that they should come an hour earlier than they'd said they would, and it was no problem. We used it to ride into Paris and to ride back to CDG. The drivers were wonderful, telling us stories all the way

http://digital.france.com/hotels/shuttle/index.html

Sandy

Do yourself a big favor and take a taxi from CDG to your Paris hotel. I recently did the trip. Took a shuttle upon arrival and wasted about two frustrating hours riding around Paris and giving the driver directions (not to mention it was my first trip there)! Took a taxi from hotel to CDG...hassle free. A bit more expensive, but in the grand scheme of things, worth it.

Taxi for sure, spend the money and don't waste your time or patience!

I live in Paris and would suggest taking the Air France bus -- and then a taxi. Bus drivers know the shortcuts and travel time can be cheaper. But if you are more than 3, a taxi will be equivalent in price.

I would take a taxi over the Air France bus. I've done both and I prefer the taxi. Air France bus is limited in the stops the drop off at. That's why a taxi needs to be taken afterwards if it's necessary otherwise, you need to walk to your hotel destination.

However, with a taxi it's one ride all the way to the hotel.
