CDG T1 ATM Location

Will someone please pinpoint for me the location of an ATM machine in Terminal 1 of Charles de Gaulle Airport?

Hopefully my flight will arrive as scheduled at about 9:00 Paris time.
I checked the CDG website, along with the Mastercard and Visa websites, and the information is as follows:

1. There is an exchange bureau in each terminal;

2. There are 5 Mastercard ATM machines in terminal 2;

3. There are 3 Visa ATM machines in terminal 2.

No information about Terminal 1, but possibly the ATM machines are specifically owned by banks which is why there isn't any information on the CDG website (I searched on the words cash dispenser and ATM). There should be one or more after you clear customs/immigration. Past experience (although not at CDG) is that there are always ATMs in the baggage claim area.

If terminal 1 is where USAirways arrives, the ATM is easy to find, along the way to exit for ground travel, etc. However, when we arrived early in a.m. in May, ATM was not working, temporarily. Right beside it, tho, AMEX was.

US Airways arrives at T1, or at least it did last year. I did not look for an ATM last year as I passsed through on my way to Munich. I simply went on to the Lufthansa flight for Munich after clearning immigration and customs.

If the ATM machine is not reliable, I think I will go with my usual plan -- get the minimum amount of euros from my bank before I leave home. I can get a full supply from an ATM in the city. There are several within 350 yards of my hotel.

I had much rather do that than fight my way over to T2. That would be a real pain in the kodonkus.
I suppose I could cash a traveler's check or two at American Express. But if I arrive when the window is closed, I am up the creek for paying cab fare.
I should have gone on to say that we easily found a cab that accepted credit cards; we also could have exchanged $$ at an exchange booth, but that would have been a last resort! Next time, however, I will go back to getting $50 or so in euro at home.

There are ATM machines near Door (Porte) 32 and 18. When you come out of customs doors face the large arrivals board and information center and then go to the right

My experience has been that the ATM machines at CDG aérogare 1 are often "en panne," - out of commission. If they're working, the lines are realy long. I'd bring euros with you - enough to get you into the city to get to a bank or Post Office to get some more.
