CDG RER B questions

I am planning to travel from CDG to our hotel in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. A few questions:

- Can I purchase a Carte Orange/Pass Navigo Decouverte at the RER station at CDG? I already have photos.

- A Navigo Decouverte zones 1 – 5 should cover travel (Tuesday, our arrival day, through Sunday) for the trip from CDG to Paris, with side trips to Versailles and Disneyland Paris. Is that correct?

- RER B line stops at St Michel/Notre Dame. Can I transfer within that station to the RER C line to Tour D’Eiffel? Transfer above ground?

Thanks for the help./ cel

You can buy the Navigo at CDG T2 and load it with zones 1-5 for 33€

Everywhere in the five zones, including both airports, Disneyland, and Versailles are included. Carte Orange zone map:

The transfer to RER C at St Michel-Notre Dame is underground. I did it once several years ago, and IIRC, the C platform is down one level by escalator.

The Eiffel Tower is a couple of blocks east of the Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel station.

NB When you buy your pass, ask if RER C is closed for track maintenance. If it is, I recommend you ride to Gare du Nord and take the N° 42 bus from there to Tour Eiffel. It passes quite a few landmarks, as you can see on this map:

Quick question: would the Navigo Decouverte (zones 1-5) include Marly-le-Roi, or is that outside zone 5?

The first URL Robespierre gave above is the zone map, so you can look at it and see where places are.

Marly-le-Roi is on that map and is in zone 4.

As a general principle, you can find out a lot about a station by entering it at www.ratp.info and hitting Plan de quartier. Click on an RER or SNCF station to see the Zone it's in.
