CDG -- how to get from E to A

Four of us are flying to Paris in May. Two of us will arrive on a DL flight in Terminal 2E, while the other two will arrive an hour later on Continental in Terminal 2A. We are having a car service meet us wherever it is they meet people arriving at 2A, since that flight arrives later. Is it fairly easy to find one's way from baggage claim in 2E over to 2A to meet the car service, and where do you meet your driver at 2A? My memory of CDG on my last trip was being herded from point to point until I was finally spit out a door where my car met me. I have no idea where I was or how I got there.

You can take the shuttle bus, or you can walk. With two hours, you can do either.

Ask the car service which "Porte" or "Gate" they pick up at 2A. These are the doors between the inside of the terminal to the curb, and they're numbered.

Hi th,

CDG airport map at
http://bonjourlafrance.net/air-franc...dg-airport.htm

You have plenty of time to walk.

Thanks rkkwan and ira. We'll have about an hour to walk from 2E to 2A, assuming our flight arrives on time (which isn't likely). I'll print out the airport map and carry it with me. I'm just going to have to assume that I'll figure it all out when I get there.

It will be amazingly simple. Follow the signs and walk and it will take maybe 10-20 minutes.

Ditto ditto ditto. Walk. I did it in December. It is a cake walk.

Guess what -- there are plenty of airport diagram signboards inside the airport, just like in a shopping mall. Big buildings have been doing this sort of thing for more than 100 years.

Kerouac, I'm sure there are signs. There usually are, but I swear I never saw the first one the last time I was at CDG. Lack of sleep does that to me sometimes.
