Cdg airport terminals
 

Have 1 and a half hours to transfer from an Air France flight arriving from Rome at terminal 2f at CDG to a Delta flight leaving for SLC from terminal 2e. Is this ample time?

They're nearby. Google CDG and you can find a terminal map. Terminal 2 is shaped like this (turn 90 degrees -- can't do this on a computer):

each "|" in my sorry map is the connection between wings of Terminal 2. Each ( ) is a pair of wings like 2a-2b, 2c-2d, 2e-2f where the gates are. The wings you have are across from each other, but you must go around the edge of the wing to connect to the other side, not through the middle.

Even at that sorry airport, 90 minutes should be enough time. We easily made a connection scheduled for 55 minutes down time, which turned into 75 minutes because we arrived early. Whether your bags join you is another story.

Thanks for the reply. Should be okay after looking at sketch of CDG. Really don't care if bags make it with us as this is our return trip home, as long as they make it eventually :)

If you go to the Air France website, Information and Services, At the Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle Transfers, and enter your cities, you'll get step by step directions with maps. (Other maps are often very deceiving with regard to walking paths...)

Terminal 2E has two sections, so once there, double check your gate number before continuing on.

Ninety minutes should be adequate. Try to wait until you're through security for the restrooms, refreshments, etc.
