CDG airport 2C to 2F, shuttle bus or walking?

Hi, if I have only 1hour for the connection of the Air France flight in CDG, can you suggest the fastest way to get from terminal 2C to 2F. I should walk or taking the shuttle? Thanks.

Not a lot of time, any delays and you could miss your connection. Walking will be faster than waiting for a shuttle. I assume your luggage will be checked through so you can go directly to the 2F after going through immigration.

If there is a later connecting flight you might consider changing.

If you can get a longer connection

I agree...walking will definitely be faster than taking the shuttle bus.
I would also advise checking on a later connecting flight.

So, is it walking will be faster? Does anyone have different opinion? If no, I will walk then.

Walk. Fast.

Are you arriving at CDG after an international flight?

If so, I suggest praying that your flight arrives ahead of schedule.

CDG is my pet peeve airport.
Which means I avoid it when possible.

walk and pray simulataneously!

I've asked the airline, they say if I want to change the connection flight. I shound pay $100more for the changes coz my ticket is unchangeble and the next connection flight will be 12:40p.m. but I will be arrive on 6:30a.m. So, do you think I should change the flight or not to change but walk and pray???

travelbunny May 17th, 2007 07:31 PM

If you connection is to AF or a code share, I wouldnt change if you were assigned a legal connection by the airline. If you miss the plane, they will have to get you and your luggage to your destination eventually.

StCirq May 17th, 2007 07:32 PM

No, because if you miss the flight it's THEIR fault and they have to put you on another flight - at no cost.

If you're connecting non-Schengen to non-Schengen, then take the airside shuttle. If you're connecting non-Schengen to Schengen, then walk.

Irenewong May 17th, 2007 07:49 PM

I flights are all airfrance. If I really miss the flight, will airfrance put me in the other flight even it's my own "fault" (can't catch the flight within 1hr). Because if they won't put me in another flihgt, but I need to buy a new ticket for the flight from Paris to Nice, the cost may be even higher than changing a conncetion flight now. so, can anyone give some opinion on this, so that I can decide whether to change a flihgt now or not. Thanks.

They will put you on the next flight that has availability. Unless your flight from the US arrives on time, and you decide to go see Paris instead.
