Hi K,

>How do I get from Terminal 2E to 2B, should I walk?

Yes

>I have 1:45 between flights,

Walk very rapidly.

You will have to go through Passport control to get out of 2E and you will have to go through security to get into 2B, assuming that your luggage is checked through and your plane lands at 2E.

Hi Ira,
both flights are Air France, so I guess that, with a bit of luck, they will take care of the luggage - but my worry was everyone is saying there are no signs to guide you, is that so??
If it is only walking fast, no prob, I will run... but need to know where..lol

Since Romania is non-Schengen, I'd take the airside shuttle. If you walk, you'll need to go through two passport control checks. One at 2E to enter Schengen and one at 2B to exit.

Here's another map that should give you the idea of where you're going.

I've been fortunate in the past to have AF personnel meet me at the gate and escort me to the next gate. They put us (about 10 persons) in a 'pod' and moved the pod to the new gate. Very nice. BA will do the same if you're a One World affiliate.

When AF personnel met you at the gate, had you asked them to do that, or do you think it is something they always do? that would help.
I don't have an issue with passport control because I have an European passport, which makes life simpler.

AF only meets tight connections and not always. Since you have 1:45 min between flights, it's unlikely you'll get assistance if your flight arrives on schedule. They're also more likely to meet you if you're connecting to a long haul vs intra-Europe flight since they can more easily rebook you on a later intra-Europe flight.

Unlike Patty, I have always been greeted and helped by AF personnel when making a connection at CDG, and none of my flights have been long-haul. Admittedly, most of my connections have been under an hour and hair-raising.

I'm a little confused. We land at 2E and then connect out of 2B to Turkey. Since Turkey is non-Schengen, are we better off taking the airside shuttle? We only have an hour and change between flights.
