Restaurants in Amsterdam

My family will be in Amsterdam for 5 days, staying near Rijksmuseum. I'm looking for restaurant recommendations. We loved the Indonesian food the last time we were there ... we definitely want to try Surinamese ... some native Dutch cuisine as well.

Yelp has become really good for Amsterdam. You can drag the map around, zoom in and out, and get some good commentary too. Here are their highest-rated restaurants near the Rijksmuseum:

Blonde Hollander has authentic Dutch food; for a more upscale experience (but not breaking the bank), try Le Zinc.

On websites, you'll see Blauwe Hollander or Le Zinc et Les Autres.

We absolutely LOVED The Bird! It is fabulous Thai restaurnt and the food is divine and prices are reasonable.
We went 3 times!!!!!
