Castlerotto without a car in late May

Hello! I'm headed to Italy for a week in May and wanted to head up into the mountains in between spending a day in Verona and a day in Venice. We spent a few days in Lauterbrunnen and Wengen, Switzerland last year and LOVED it and want something like that - Castelrotto, via a bunch of awesome recs I've already read from y'all here, sounds like the perfect spot. Smaller than Ortisei but still easy enough to get to via train and bus.

Except we're there before most of the lifts are open, I think. According to the opening dates I found in another thread here the only ones open by late May are the "Panorama" and the "Marinzen" ones. We will not have a car and I was just curious about getting around. Where will the buses take us that will give us the best views of the mountains? I haven't quite figured out where the bus routes and maps and timetables are.

We're healthy enough and can hike plenty, but since we're only there for two days I'm looking for maximum visual impact, if possible.

Thanks!
