Hotel? Resort? Preferred price?

Hotel or resort is fine. In the 200-250E range.

I love Cassis but never heard of Cadaques, please, where is it? Near to?

traveller212 Apr 6th, 2005 03:44 PM

Tell me more about Cassis!

Cadaques is in Spain on the Costa Brava, north of Barcelona.

Cassis is a small fishing village not far from Marseille and near several wine producers and vineyards. Not farm from Cassis are the calanques, sea inlets similar to fijords and quite beautiful to see--but it's a long hike. You can, however, visit the calanques by boat. The village itself is a good place for a holiday.

If you want something stunning, then you want Cassis. It's a fishing village with charm. You can take a boat ride to see the Calanques. I stopped there in the late afternoon on my way to Marseille. It was so captivating that I went back the following day for a second visit. Lovely people and quaint streets that wind in and out.
