I have been to four casinos in Europe: on the Estoril coast in Portugal, Baden-Baden, Monte Carlo ("the Casino") and a hotel casino in Monte Carlo whose name I have forgotten - - and the most impressive by far was Baden-Baden - - for elegance, beauty of facilities, and a general sense of "class" to the experience.

Your passport is absolutely mandatory and the dress "code" (I won't try to guess precisely how it is "enforced") is very, VERY dressy. Dress up as if you were going to your sister's wedding.

Best wishes,

Two casinos in Monaco, one in Spain in Marbella on the Costa del Sol and a couple in Portugal Severa in the Malta and Greek islands if you play slots there is no dress code or passport required. But if you play table games jackets and Passports are mandatory.
