Casa Howard or Due Torri
 

Help! Trying to decide between these 2 hotels for our November trip. Can anyone help me make this decision? Due Torri is Piazza Navona area and Casa Howard, the Spanish Steps. I've never been to Italy so I a need your help! Thanks.

Many people have asked the same question as yours, therefore, there are many postings. You can do a "search" for comments by typing in the hotels' names in the text search box above.<BR><BR>I understand that both are very nice hotels and very popular. Casa Howard has only a few rooms though.

Yes, I know there are many postings on both hotels, BUT I am wondering if anyone can help me decide between these two! I don't know Rome and both the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navonna have been recommended as good places to stay. I am leaning towards Casa Howard simply because it is not in Rick Steves book, as the Due Torri is, but is the Piazza Navona a better location for ambiance, restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, strolling, etc? Help! Thanks!

They are both good areas to stay. If you like C. Howard go with it, you will feel more relaxed after you make the decision based on not being in RS's book, if that is what the criteria is.<BR>Restaurants, shopping, strolling is about the same and you can walk between the two places easily by taking Via Condotti all the way. <BR>

If you take Via Condotti from the spanish steps you better turn left at Vias del corso or you are going to end up in the Tiber.<BR><BR>SS and Pza. Navonna are 10 minutes walk apart so either is good
