In May, we got a Fiat Station Wagon from Hertz. They stated that we would get a Ford Mondeo Wagon or equivalent. The Fiat worked fine for 4 adults, our 4 - 22" rollarounds plus our 4 small shoulder bags. I would think you'd almost have to have a station wagon for 4 adults and that much luggage.

As each car rental company has different car models, it might be helpful if you could tell us what rental car company you are looking to use.

daisy,
You said the key words-"17 days" This allows you to lease rather than rent a car.
Advantages are you pick up a brand new car of your choice with all insurance included with no deductible and no value added taxes.
I've used and was very happy with Auto Euope this past summer.
http://www.autoeurope.com/
Call them for a brouchere/pricing and have them recommend the size car you will need.

Am not familiar with that model, but it should be fine. The prices also seems right. I think we paid about $750 for 10 days thru Hertz.
