carryon only
I told a veteran traveller that my son and I were each only going to take a carryon with us on our Air France flight to Paris. She said that we would probably have to check them anyway, because AF doesn't allow anyone to travel without some checked luggage. This is due to terrorism concerns. I hope she is mistaken. I can see them being suspicious if you have no luggage at all, but not if you have a carryon.
Does anyone know the answer? |
Hi N,
>AF doesn't allow anyone to travel without some checked luggage. < This is new to me. ((I)) |
I have travelled without checked luggage on Air France several times. Rules might have changed. Rather than listen to a "veteran traveler" or posters from this list, I would check with Air France.

I think this is incorrect but as the other poster said, ask them that really knows. Be sure not to put any sharp pointy things in--at least of the variety that are disallowed.

Would think this is highly unlikely. But check with their web site and/or call them directly.

The easiest thing would be to call Air France and ask them
