Carry On Question: Non-prescription medicines

A question for my DH: would Rogaine be allowed under the "4 oz" of non-presc. medicine, or am I interpreting this wrong? Thanks!

I have no idea kjenn but can he put it in his checkin luggage (perhaps put it in a ziplock bag).

I suspect nobody would consider Rogaine an "essential" medication that needs to be carried in cabin baggage regardless of the size of the container.

If it is liquid, then no it will not be allowed.
