Carre des Feuillants

I'm interested in treating two friends to a special lunch in Paris later this month. I asked for advice on which restaurant to select in a couple posts that didn't show up (c'mon, Fodor's!), and finally made a reservation at Carre des Feuillants. I've found conflicting info on the Web about what lunch should cost there. Does anyone know? I'm planning to send my friends gift certificates, so I have to make a good guess. Thanks.

Hi Paula,

Check the reviews at http://www.hiptravelguide.com/paris/reviews-28.html

Thanks, Ira, I did that, but only one person mentions cost, and that's for dinner. Frommer's lists a price that's suspciously high, even for a restaurant of this caliber, and I'm guessing that's for a tasting menu.

Hi P,

I was more concerned about the negative reviews.

The price at Frommers certainly looks like the tasting menu.

Neither sounds all that credible, so they didn't bother me. It's all in how you tell it. Zagat's, Frommer's, and many on this board rave.

OK

What appears to me to be a dinner menu is posted on reservethebest.com.

The listing mentions lunch is 65 euros

Suzie, I love you! Heading for the airport for my own vacation in two hours, so I was getting down to the wire. Thanks so much!
