Caron de Beaumarchais or de la Bretonnerie or du Jeu de Paume
 

Trying to decide between the following 3 hotels: Caron de Beaumarchais, de la Bretonnerie and du Jeu de Paume. Would appreciate any opinions.

We have stayed at both the Caron de Beaumarchais and de la Brettonerie. Caron .. has air conditioning, our room at Brettonerie did not, but it is essential in the summer. Caron also has elevators, Brettonerie did not. Our room was smaller at Caron than Brettonerie, but nicer, with more modern bathroom. both located a few blocks from each other. We found the staff at Caron to be more helpful and much more friendly. both are very comprable, but I would return to the Caron de Beaumarchais first. What criteria is important to you?

I love the location of Jeu de Paume - but I've been to Paris a number of times and don't mind being out of the center of things. Caron de Beaumarchais is a lovely hotel - but a little busier location. As someone else said, it depends on your criteria. <BR>And I hope you're planning a long way in advance - Caron de Beaumarchais and Jeu de Paume both book full MONTHS in advance. Have a great trip!
