Carlux, France

In the summer 2014 edition of CAA (Canadian equivalent of AAA) magazine, Chris Hadfield, Commander of the International Space Station, explains his unique method of choosing where to have a Christmas holiday with his family.
The result one year was Carlux, France which he describes as his favourite holiday.

We spent one winter in Carlux, minding the house of a well-respected Fodors contributor. That, too, was our favourite winter. The Dordogne area of France will always remain our preferred corner of the world.
