Cara Black mysteries - How do you rank them?

Loved this thread and will smugly say that I just finished the series in time for my own visit to Paris and the Latin Quarter. Found I raced through them a bit but was able to read them in order, using my local library, which I'm sure is just what the author and publisher like to hear.
As I posted on another thread:
And check YouTube for "In the Footsteps of Aimee Leduc" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXmZrRzFKoo
for a delightful walk through Paris w/the author.
She tours the area of her next book "Murder in the Palais Royal" in the followup video "Some Aimee's Secrets"

I have Murder in the Latin Quarter on hand to start tomorrow! I want to read it asap, but then again don't want it to be over since we know the next one only comes out in 2010!
I've read the series in order too, and definitely recommend doing it like that to better understand yes.
I have this forum to thank for making me discover this great series!

Cara here and bonjour everyone. I love this thread and thank you for all your comments, suggestions and the closest I come to Proust are loving Madeleines
Here's an article published today in the Times Union about the
Aimée Leduc Investigation series. Maybe you'll enjoy it.

Thank you Cara, both for this link and for the series!
(My only tiny suggestion is that sometimes it seems~~and I did race through them so forgive me if I'm mistaken~~ that Aimee goes from e.g. sludging through a sewer to e.g. crashing a diplomatic cocktail party with very little in the way of ablutions or primping to separate the two activities.)
Looking forward to the next murder!
