Car Rentals in Siena near BUS station
 

Hello,

We will be traveling to Italy in July and going from Venice to Florence by train, then taking a bus to Siena and renting a car. What car rental places are closest to the bus station?

Probaly none since that is in the heart of town and not easy to access. Most are closer to the train station---you may have to taxi. Check Autoeurope.com

Are you going from Venice to Siena in one day? If so, just take the train to Siena. Hertz on Viale Sardegna is within walking distance. For the other two options, take a short taxi ride from the station.

Whichever way you do this, you need to time your arrival during the rental office's open hours. I think all three of them are closed in the middle of the day. Also Saturday afternoons and all day on Sundays.

You could also pick up the car as you're leaving Venice....

You can look up the addresses of rental agencies on Google Maps or www.viamichelin.com. And good advice from Jean about checking the agency's hours.

Actually, the autoeurope.com website now has a map feature that shows locations and a few landmarks like train stations. I think it's based on maps.google.com.
