Car rental return Nice
 

Thought I posted this earlier, but reposting as I don't see it.

We are flying out of Nice early Thursday morning. Need to be at the airport by 6am. Can someone advise me how close the car rental agency is to the airport? I'm concerned we won't have enough time that early in the day. I'm wondering if it would be better to return the car on Wednesday and take a cab Thursday morning?

I would have helped if you had said which company and when your flight will leave.

Anyway, the rental car return is close to the terminal, you can walk. But I quickly researched that AVIS and Hertz, to take two examples, open not before 6:30.

Very close walking distance to terminal 2 - you'd need the shuttle bus for terminal 1.
The rental firms are at terminal 2. You'd need to check with them regarding opening hours.

Returning a car at Nice Airport is very quick and easy.

There's a petrol station right before you get to the car rental return.

And check with the rental firm; would be a waste of time to return the car a day early. What time is your flight, and from which terminal?

Thanks for the info. I checked and it looks like British Airways flies out of terminal one. Normally taking a shuttle wouldn't be a problem, but this trip we also brought a bag that has to be checked, so that might be a hassle.
