car rental insurance

Jump to last reply

I am planning to rent cars for several parts of an upcoming trip to Croatia and Slovenia.
I must admit that I am confused about my insurance needs. The trip insurance policy that I purchased states that it includes Collision Damage Waiver insurance up to $50,000. Is that sufficient? Are there other types of insurance I should have? One or more of my credit cards may also offer coverage, but if the trip insurance policy is sufficient, would that be simplest? Any advice you can offer will be much appreciated!
