Car rental In Ireland

Has anyone had any experience hiring a car with County car rentals in Ireland. My husband did a search with Argus car rentals who through Cartrawler got a deal with County. However after we had booked we found County's terms and conditions and are not very happy with some of them. They claim to have unlimited millage and then have a ceiling of 190km per day. Rather ambiguious or irish!!

Not ambigious at all. Just deceitufl.

I would never go for anythng but unlimited - and 118 miles isn't that far to go in one day.

That's not a mileage limit; it's a kilometrage limit. Not the same thing at all.

Your terms and conditions are on the voucher from Argus - where you will probably find you have unlimited mileage.b

For any car rental in Ireland, make sure that if you are planning on using your credit card rental car coverage to waive the CDW, that it covers Ireland - many don't. Also, now that the dollar is sinking, non-luxury cars are running higher than the $50,000 limit on most credit card rental car coverages.

Thanks for the replies. We are from Australia so the credit card coverage doesn't apply to us. I have since been able to comunicate with Argus and they have assured us that we have unlimited millage and have also answered a few other questions we had. Also, sorry I should have written unlimited kilometres not unlimited millage
