Car rental in Geneva
 

I have checked with all the popular car rental companies about renting a car for one day from Geneva airport (Swiss side & French side ) to Milan airport (Malpensa). Every inquiry I made included a
approximately 1000.00 drop off fee. Is anyone aware of a car rental company that doesn't
have a drop off fee?

European car rentals are notorious for this. Heck, Avis is charging a pretty hefty fee for pickup and dropoff at different locations within France (Nimes and Marseilles airport).

if you can't find another answet, your best bet might be to drop it off in Switzerland, and train to Milan.

It might be cheaper to fly, or just as convenient to take the train.

Auto Europe is showing a mid-size car (Hertz) for just over $200 USD, with a one-way drop off fee of 400 CHF, or just under $400 USD. It's far cheaper to take the train.
