Car Rental from Auto Europe
 

I have rented cars from Auto Europe in the past and have been satisfied with their service. On their website where you decide which auto you wish it sometimes states "No Insurance Excess". What does this mean? Also what does inclusive include. What is the difference between inclusive and basic? Please help.

If you have questions on Auto Europe's policies/terms why wouldn't you call them and ask your questions. That would be the most reliable source. And then if there is a problem later on with the terms and conditions you can cite an Auto Europe representative as giving you the answer. Remember to get the person's name when you call.

"No Excess" means you get zero deductible Super CDW
"Inclusive" means you get the CDW, with a deductible amount.
"Basic" means no CDW.

As always, read the fine print to see what is covered.

I would never rent a car from a website, even with AutoEurope, which I've been dealing with for 25+ years. As Adrienne says, call them. Even if you do understand everything on the website.

You can call Auto Europe at 800-223-5555 regarding"No Insurance Excess". Inclusive means you have Collision Insurance(CDW). Basic is without any CDW. There is often a deductible amount up to $1500.00 which your credit card may cover. You'd have to check on that. Auto Europe is a very reliable company that deals with most major car rental companies in Europe and is very good about advocating for you if you have any issues with the rental company. If you find a better price, they will match the price.

Adrienne, do you mean you would not make the reservation through a website? if so, why not?

I thought that CDW was mandatory in Italy.

If this is true, how can the basic coverage not include CDW?
