Car hire, pick up in spain and drop off in france? Coach across border?

Jump to last reply

Hello Everyone. I am needing to pick up a car in Bilbao and spend a few days driving around the western Pyranees, we then want to drive through South France and end our holiday in Marseilles. This is impossible as there is an international drop off fee of £500+ (eeek!)
Ive tried to work out how to cross the border on coach or train and then pick up another car once we're in france, but im finding it really hard to retrieve info, it seems I cant travel from Pampalona unless I get a night coach, or go by train via Bordeoux which seems ridiculous. Anyone have any ideas? Easy coach journey from western pyranees to france where I can pick up another car????
Thank you.
