car hire in france..to book or not to book?

Am travelling late Sept and want to rent a car once i leave Paris. Am I likely to bargain for a good price or get lucky with specials if I just wait till i get to Europe or shoudl i book before I leave home?

When I was completing the forms at the EuropCar desk for my pre-booked car at CDG 3 weeks ago, a number of walk-ups were turned away because they had no cars available.

Check www.autoeurope.com - - countless reasons to book ahead; no reasons not to.

Best wishes,

Rex
I agree with Rex and others. Book ahead and use auto europe. You can cancel right up til the end with them in case u find a lower price in the interim.

John H
