Car ferries on Lake Como

Is there a car ferry from Como to Bellagio? Is it better than taking the road after a long overseas flight? Do you need reservations? How long does it take?

There is a car ferry to both shores from and to Bellagio, but I do not know if the car ferry goes to town of Como. I think that if you Google Bellagio you will find its web site which includes ferry schedules and destinations.

On Lake Como, car ferries link Cadenabbia, Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna. Boats from Como take passengers only. Full details of services on lakes Como, Maggiore and Garda are on www.navlaghi.it. Fast boats from Como take about 50 minutes to Bellagio.

No reservations needed, BTW.
