Capri - Taverna Anema e Core
 

As luck would have it, last night I saw a program that had a few minutes dedicated to this tavern. It seemed like quite the scene. After doing a search on this forum I saw one posting that briefly mentioned this tavern and am hoping that the forumite in question will see this posting and respongd. Would a middle aged American couple be out of place there? Is it a place where we could get a good meal and enjoy some wine and Italian beer also? Just planning ahead. Let me also add we will be on Capri in mid to late May (2006, however). If our forumite with experience with the tavern can recall, are reservations required or recommended?

By any chance was that TV show "WILD ON?" I happened to be channel flipping the other night and saw a segment on Capri and Taverna Anema e Core.
If you will be in Capri, I say go there and enjoy.

Yep! Same here. I was channel flipping and BAM, there it was on Wild On.

Great place! My husband and I were there in May, 2005. All kinds of music, all kinds of people. I don't think they serve dinner but it's exactly the way it looks on the website. Best night of our trip. Enjoy.
