Capri or Positano
 
<BR>My friends and I want to spend the last two days of our trip relaxing someplace beautiful on the Amalfi coast before returning to Rome. Because of the time restraints, I have to choose one place. Any opinions? Also would appreciate less expensive hotel recommendations.

Good afternoon, Roxanne <BR>Decisions, decisions, decisions, both <BR>are very beautiful places, however would <BR>but my selection with Capri only that <BR>it is larger than Positano and feel there is much more to do. The only <BR>drawback and it is the same with both <BR>places is the large amount of tourists <BR>during the daylight hours. My suggestion for a hotel would be the <BR>HOTEL SYRENE,via Camerelle, 51 on <BR>Capri the middle town and is a four <BR>star hotel with 32 rooms having a <BR>a view of the Faraglioni, has a very <BR>good ristorante, swimming pool and <BR>about a block or so from the main square <BR>Pza Umberto, very lively at night.... <BR>Check out the following www.caprionline.com/syrene/index.html. <BR>other information on Capri can be found <BR>on the same url..... <BR>Richard of Hickory Hills, Il...
