Capri - La Minerva Hotel
 

After reading the debate on day tripping vs. overnighting to Capri, we decided to stay the night on Capri. Found the right price at La Minerva and (I have done a search but not much has turned up) was hoping I could get feedback on experiences with the hotel (both good & bad). Did not want to spend more than the comparable rate that they are offering (approx. $150).

To the top. Oh please, oh please, oh please you experienced Capri travellers.

DJ, <BR> <BR>We stayed at the Villa Helios, which is an interesting hotel in Capri proper. I think we paid about $75.00 a night for this hotel. We did not have a sea view but we did have an adequate bathroom, and the room was a good size. I would recommend staying there. The staff was very friendly. We just returned from Italy and spend 5 nights on Capri at Hotel La Minerva. It was perfect. We had a lovely room, large bath and very large terrace with a view. Just a few minutes walk from center of Capri Town. Service was impeccable and the setting was intimate and romantic. I highly recommend it, especially at the price.

You've made a good choice with La Minerva. We stayed there (though I must admit it was several years ago) and loved it. We plan on staying there again when we return next year.
