We also took a private boat tour of Capri, arranged by our hotel. It ran about $60/hour. My guess is that you can do better by directly negotiating with the boat captains down at Marina Grande. There were quite a few of them asking if we wanted a private tour as we left the funicular.

Her name is Rebecca ([email protected]) and she offers wonderful insight about the island during her boat tours.
