Capri Boat Tour in April

Hello, my two best friends and I are planning a 40th Bday trip for ourselves and spending 3 nights in Capri mid-April. What type of temperatures should we expect? We would love to do a 3 hr boat tour and hope we won't freeze!

Thank you.

Too cold for swimming, although if you're from Canada or the Mid-West USA maybe not Rain would be a factor but just come prepared. It's actually a nice time to be on Capri as the bulk of the tourists/day trippers come in the summer months.

high probably low 60s, low in high 40s. Average in the mid 50s.
I needed a warm rain jacket both times I was there in April. It seemed even cooler on the water. There were several hours of sunshine both times and a short rain storm each time. You won't freeze, but will need something to stay comfortably warm.

Cool for Capri but a great time to visit Pompeii - which is the summer is hot as hell. And after April quite a few places will have opened for the season.

Just be aware that the ferries/hydrofoils run in limited hours - it's difficult to get to and fro after late afternoon.

I've been to Capri late March/early April before and had great weather - 70's and sunny during the day. YMMV.

kybourbon...I'll keep fingers crossed for that!

I should have asked in original post, whom did you book a boat tour through?

the weather in spring in capri is really crazy, you never know until you are on the island. Anyway i don't think you get freeze on the boat if you make the trip in the morning, in a sunny day. the tours in that period are great, because there are not many people like in summer time.

this is one of the private boat company on the island.
