spending three nights, four days at the Hotel il nido in Sorrento,any comments on the hotel? We are going in June from Rome.Anyone know anything about Avellino,the town of Nusco or Alta Villa Irpino, grandparents were from there and would like to visit where they were from. <BR> Thank You <BR> Vinny Mottola

Two suggestions: <BR>1. Write to the town itself. Most likely some nice person will answer. <BR>2. Try looking up the towns in www.google.co. <BR> <BR>I used both methods to research my grandparents' towns. I visited one last May and will visit another this spring. <BR> <BR>If you have questions within the next few days re how to do this, leave a message on this thread, and keep "topping" it so I can find it.

Hi, Last summer, I visited the Campania area, and found real cousins (that I didn't know). My grandparents were from Castelfrangi in the Avellino province. Straz di. Nusco is very close to Castelfrangi. There is a very good site called Termino Cervialto that shows photos of the mountain region. It was very beautiful in a rural mountain sort of way.
