Cap Corse - clockwise or counterclockwise

As part of our trip to Corsica next May, we plan to drive all around Cap Corse. What are the pros and cons of driving clockwise versus counterclockwise. We'll have the option to do either.

We went counter clockwise as I read the views are slightly better We loved it but don't think it's a big deal.

Thanks for your comment. I read that when driving counterclockwise, you are on the outer edge of the road which can be challenging when there are steep drop offs. Did you find this to be a problem?

I was in the passenger seat for that drive --- I don't recall any concerns but am not troubled by drop offs. If you choose the other direction it's still a lovely drive.

Just remembered a blog entry with pics. That restaurant was good for lunch too! Other Corsica pages on that link BTW

Hi Elizabeth-
Thanks for your comments and the link to the blog. Do you have any other suggestions regarding Cap Corse? We'll be spending 2 nights in Saint Florent. Any suggestions regarding restaurants?

Definitely a restaurant reco near Saint Florent (where we stayed as well) We were there way off season so many of the restaurants in town were closed but this country restaurant was wonderful (reservations a must)

Hi Elizabeth-
I want to make sure I have the right restaurant. Is this the one in your blog - http://www.fermecampodimonte.com/aub...ant-1-fr.html?

That's it! Have some beignets for me!
