Can't find the thread that mentioned Richoux

After seeing the post about tea at Richoux, I opened up their website, and am now wondering, how's the regular food there? I'm wondering because there are a lot of items on the menu that my very finicky son would eat.

LOTS of threads have mentioned Richoux. This is one current thread http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=35145463

Richoux is fine - Not a "destination" IMO but definitely a good place to eat lunch or for afternoon tea. I usually will stop there if I am near a branch around lunch/tea time - but I don't make a special trip to eat there. Each branch (I think I've been in 3 of them) is slightly different.

Thanks, I did search first, and found the "other" threads, I just couldn't find the one from today. I've since seen it again.

I used to like the one across from Harrod's and visited it regularly for both tea and dinner. They make a good Welsh Rarebit and a chevre salad, but on my last trip ( March, 08) I found it was shabby and in real need of an update. I did have lunch at the one on Piccadilly last fall and it seemed okay and although the staff is not nearly as friendly as they once were, they are efficient. And, yes, I think they have a good,well-rounded menu.

The food is basic but reasonably well prepared. find for lunch or tea. I don't think they do dinners - or if so - not real dinner food.

Have been several times and It's mostly ladies who shop or family groups, often with kids, in my experience.

Actually they do dinner at Richoux and the meals offered are fine for an evening meal.

dmlove, you might want to have a look at Strada. It's Italian and they do have a good selection.
