Cane e Gatto: casual atmosphere?
 

Hi everyone,

I have a reservation at Cane e Gatto. I was curious what kind of atmosphere to expect? Dressy, casual? I would tend to think dressy due to the four hour meal.

Has anyone gone, what did you wear? I ask because I was considering exploring all day, which would mean I'd be dressed more on the casual side.

natc, I'm sure you know where this place is, but I'm equally sure the vast majority of posters don't. While you may have clicked a country for the search function your post will appear to anyone coming to the entire Europe forum. But even if it did show a country (which it doesn't) a little more specifics would be nice -- like a city. Even googling doesn't help, as it mainly shows a film by that name. But I do know there is a famous restaurant in Bonn, Germany by that name -- is that the one you mean?

We were casual but not touristy. Its certainally not stuffy and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy...have a great time...Im jealous.

Great restaurant of this name in Trieste. No need to dress up though.
