I know that this is very far-fetched, but is it also possible that the church wants you to cover up so that you will not appeal sexually to the clergy?

I'm just inquiring about this because of Cardinal Law and the Boston Archidiocese finally releasing the names of all of the priests that were being protected by the church for child molestation. On another note, do you think that Cardinal Law is guilty of sending known child molestors out into the parishes and community?

I'll go anywhere I damn well please.

And Babynot, Im a WASP so your rant about the Catholic Church is wasted on me. I couldn't care less about the Catholics. I only go into their churches to look at the art and architecture, just the way I would go into a Hindu temple or the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. I mean we allow you Catholics to come into our beautiful churches, such as St. Paul's in London, so don't go telling me about how I need not go into Catholic churches if I don't like the politics.

Yes, I was agreeing, but also saying it's hardly surprising.
A few sentences does not qualify as a "rant," John G, by my standards. A rant would be longer. A tirade would be longer still.
Mine was a a kvetch.

Babynot; Please don't explain yourself to that fool, JohnG. It is pearls before swine. If he can't read and comprehend that's his problem. He's obviously lacking in brain mass.
